The Chair will then make the announcement and where the material is located. Members are also reminded that District 12 STBU allows the distribution of any material without the consent of the Executive or Chair of Council.

MOTIONS FOR AMPA 2008
From Branches:
2. BIRT District 12 STBU Council endorse the following motion to AMPA 2008:
"BIRT Policy 8 - Educational Issues (EDIS Policy), 8.1 Goals of Education, be amended by addition of a new section following 8.1.1.4 to read:
Secularism - education should be free from the interference of any organized religion."

3. BIRT District 12 STBU Council endorse the following motion to AMPA 2008:
"BIRT AMPA 2008 instruct the Provincial Executive to:
a) Request the Liberal Government to take action to provide more and better HIV and AIDS prevention, support services to deal with stigma and discrimination.
b) Design or develop a simple activity kit to be used by classroom teachers on HIV and AIDS across different discipline areas.
c) Create "Take the Lead" poster that lists ways that colleagues and learners can get involved in taking action, which are divided into different categories."
