Leslie Wolfe, Vice President/Chief Negotiator

Leslie Wolfe began her teaching career as an Occasional Teacher in 1988 with the former North York Board of Education.  Her first contract position was at Yorkdale Adult Learning Centre teaching cooperative education and ESL and where she held the POR for Community Partnerships. After the Harris Tories drastically cut the funding to adult education in 1997, Leslie moved to a position at Georges Vanier Secondary School as head of their ending adult program and Community Partnerships.  Leslie was first appointed Chief Negotiator for the Secondary Teachers of Toronto in December 1999 and began her duties full time in February 2000.  She was first elected to the position of Executive Officer in May 2000 and became Vice President of the Bargaining Unit in 2005.

  • Organize Branch Presidents’ Workshop
  • Co-ordinate Grievances with Provincial OSSTF
  • Secondary Consultation Committee
  • Signing authority for any District 12 bank accounts
  • Co-ordinate Member Services for schools/work sites assigned to Executive Officers Aslanidis, Langen, and Platt
