February 2, 2010 - OSSTF/FEESO, along with other unions in Ontario, are urging Premier Dalton McGuinty to focus next month's budget on preserving and protecting good jobs. On February 1, the OFL launched its "Communities That Work" campaign, taking to the airwaves with a series of ads airing province-wide to deliver the message. "The top priority for the Ontario government must be to preserve and create good jobs," says Ontario Federation Labour President Sid Ryan. "That's how we'll pay down the deficit and speed up and consolidate the economic recovery. It's the only sustainable way to really help the government's bottom line. "This is an important campaign and I encourage all OSSTF/FEESO members to get involved in their communities," said OSSTF/FEESO President Ken Coran.
