Health and Safety Committee
Health & Safety Committee
In accordance with the District Constitution, the Health and Safety Committee is made up of the District Health and Safety Officer and one member from each Bargaining Unit with additional members being appointed or elected by the District Executive.
The members of this committee are charged with being familiar with the Ontario Health and Safety Act and its provisions and are expected to monitor workplace-related health and safety concerns, forwarding them to the District Health and Safety Officer.
