Election Commission

In accordance with the STBU Constitution, Bylaw 3.1.8, an Election Commission is established after November 1 in each STBU Executive election year and consists of Members of Council. 

The Election Commission is charged with reviewing and publishing the rules that will govern elections for STBU Executive.  The Commission receives nominations for all elected positions, monitors the campaign literature and its distribution and is meant to ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all candidates.  In addition, the Elections Commission members Chair the elections portion of the Annual General Meeting.
